International Childrens Day
Nov 20th marks World Children’s Day and it’s UN Global Day of Parents. In 2024, our world continues to sink into further depths of inhumanity and misery for so many children impacted by war.

Peace For Children
- It’s KnotOn that in 2022 over 8,600 children were killed and in just 6 months recently 15,800 children were killed in Gaza (Source UNRWA, 2024).
- It’s KnotOn that there are currently 153m children orphaned worldwide (Source: UNICEF 2022), many as a direct or indirect result of war.
- It’s KnotOn that nearly half a billion children (468m) are living in armed conflict (Source: Save the Children, UNICEF)
- It’s KnotOn that our children are being drawn into the contagion and global spiral of war with up to 300,000 child soldiers in 20 countries (Source UN.org)
